To add new groups

To link groups to users

 

1: Access User Master

 

Home

1. Use the menu path:

Admin ð Group

 

 

2: Update Group Master Details

 

Group Master

On entering the Group Master it is possible to:

Search for an existing group

Add a new group

In these instructions we are going:

add a new group

search for the group we just added

link users to the group

1. Click btn_BP_Add New button

 

 

Add Group

1. Complete the following values:

Field

Comments

Group Name

Mandatory

Can take characters A-Z, a-z, 0-9, underscore only

Maximum length 20

2. Select the required Security Settings:

Groups

Comments

Bill

Selecting the group will select all member of that group

Individual members of a group can be selected

End of Day



3. Click btn_BP_OK button to save the details of the new group.

 

 

3: Locate Group

 

Group Master

On returning to the Group Master we are going to search for an existing group

1. Click btn_BP_Search button to retrieve list of groups

 

 

4: Link Users to Group

 

Group Master / Browse

1. Click btn_BP_Link Group button to display Link User Panel

Clicking btn_BP_Detail button would display details of selected group

 

 

Group Master / Link User

1. Select the following values:

Field

Comments

Available Users

Select users to be linked to the nominated group

2. Click btn_BP_Move_right button to move selected Available Users to Selected Users panes

3. Click btn_BP_OK button to save the details of the new group and linked users.
