Handling Secondary Windows

In ICE, there can be more than one window opened at the same time.

 

In this topic, we have provided the following examples:

 

 

Example 1 - Master File Window

 

Following is an example of the Customer Master file window open over the ICE Main window:

The Customer Master file window in the above example can be:

Maximised by clicking the btn_Maximise button in the top right of its window

Minimised by clicking the btn_Minimise button in the top right of its window

Closed by clicking the btn_Close 3 button in the top right of its window

 

 

Maximised Window

The Customer Master file window has been maximised and integrated into the ICE Main window:

The Customer Master file window in the above example can be:

Restored Down to its original size by clicking the btn_Restore Down button in the top right of its window

(on same row as menu items)

Minimised by clicking the btn_Minimise 2 button in the top right of its window

(on same row as menu items)

Closed by clicking the btn_Close 2 button in the top right of its window

(on same row as menu items)

 

 

Minimised Window

The Customer Master file window has been minimised and can be seen in the bottom left of the ICE Main window:

The Customer Master file window in the above example can be:

Restored Up to its original size by clicking the btn_Restore Down 2 button in the top right of its window

Maximised by clicking the btn_Maximise button in the top right of its window

Closed by clicking the btn_Close 3 button in the top right of its window

 

Example 2 - Search Window

 

Following is an example of the Customer Search window open over the Customer Master file window:

The Customer Search window in the above example can be:

Maximised by clicking the btn_Maximise button in the top right of its window

This results in the Search window taking over the entire screen

Minimised by clicking the btn_Minimise button in the top right of its window

This results in the all the Search window being minimised to the taskbar at the bottom of the screen

It can be restored up by clicking the btn_ICE taskbar icon icon in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen

Closed by clicking the btn_Close 3 button in the top right of its window

 

 

Maximised Window

The Customer Search window has been maximised over the ICE Main window:

The Customer Search window in the above example can be:

Restored Down to its original size by clicking the btn_Restore Down 2 button in the top right of its window

Minimised by clicking the btn_Minimise button in the top right of its window

This results in the Search window being minimised to the taskbar at the bottom of the screen

It can be restored up by clicking the btn_ICE taskbar icon icon in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen.

Closed by clicking the btn_Close 3 button in the top right of its window

 

 

Example 3 - BillPoint Pop-up Window

 

Following is an example of the Cash Tendered pop-up window open over the Payment window:

The Cash Tendered pop-up window in the above example can be:

Minimised by clicking the btn_Minimise button in the top right of its window

This results in the Pop-up window being minimised to the taskbar at the bottom of the screen

It can be restored up by:

Pressing Alt-Tab key combination to switch windows

(it may be necessary to press combination more than once)

 

or

Clicking the btn_IE taskbar icon icon in the taskbar at the bottom of the screen

Closed by clicking the btn_Close 3 button in the top right of its window
